Peach, mango, cucumber, and lime juice get blended together for a super refreshing drink that will cool you off after a hot day or sweaty run. Salt adds a dose of electrolytes and seeds add healthy fats and a touch of protein to help with nutrient absorption and keeping your blood sugar stable. For an extra hydrating twist, use coconut water in place of the water. If your fruit isn’t very sweet, add honey, dates, or maple syrup, to taste!

Servings 4 cups
Prep Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe peach, pitted, halved
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • ½ large or 1 small cucumber, peeled, quartered
  • 2 tbsp hemp, flax, and/or chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Taste and add honey, dates, or maple syrup, to taste (depends on ripeness of fruit). Enjoy right away!

Substitutions:

  • Use any ripe seasonal fruit in place of the peach
  • Substitute frozen pineapple or peach for the mango
  • Skip the cucumber and just add a bit more water
  • The seeds add healthy fats so you can absorb the fat-soluble nutrients, but you could add a spoonful of cashew or almond butter in their place or leave it out.

Storage:

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Leftovers + Repurposing:

  • Give it a stir before drinking!
