With the year coming to a close, I wanted to share my personal favorite Cooking Club recipes from all of 2024.
It was a difficult task, almost like choosing a favorite child when you have almost 200 children! I went through each week, started out with a list of about 20 recipes and managed to narrow it down to 7!
So, whether you’ve made these already or not, I highly recommend adding them to a future 2025 dinner plan!
Now onto the recipes (photos are all linked!)…
1. Ricotta Meatballs with Tomato Butter Sauce
This is my most favorite pasta recipe of all time! I’ve been making the sauce for years now and created an ultra-light and tender sheet pan meatball recipe to go with. It’s the best and a great way to start out 2025 (or save it for Valentine’s Day)!
2. Yukari’s Miso Ramen
This one has a special place in my heart and is probably my favorite soup recipe for the year. I learned to make this miso ramen during our honeymoon in Japan. This is my simplified, at-home friendly version.
3. Miso Chicken and Eggplant Rice Bowls with Spicy Tahini Broth
This wins for my favorite rice bowl of the year. The caramelized miso chicken, mushrooms, and eggplant with the chewy rice and insanely simple 3-ingredient “tahini broth” is soooo good!!
4. Moroccan Spiced Beef and Cauliflower Bowls
I love all of the flavors and textures that come together in the recipe. It’s a pretty basic meat and veggie bowl that combines caramelized cauliflower, sweet chewy dates, heavily spiced meat with crunchy cukes and tangy yogurt – it is just, mwah (chefs kiss)!
5. Grilled Curry Chicken with Cucumber Avocado Salad
A flavorful grilled meat with a simple tangy, crunchy salad is one of my favorite ways to eat in the warmer months. This was my favorite summer recipe and I’d eat it in the winter too – just pan-fry the meat instead of grilling it!
6. Skillet Pizza Chicken
I was so incredibly pleased with this recipe both for how insanely delicious it is and how easy it is to make (no chopping required and uses ingredients you probably have all the time).
7. Tomato Poached Cod with Tzatziki Chickpeas
One of my favorite fish recipes that I’ve developed over the years. I just love the way the cooling, creamy chickpeas cucumber yogurt mixture pairs with the warm tomato-spiced broth and flaky fish.
